What is Christianity?Christianity in essence is all about God: Establishing a relationship with Him, and returning to His original plan for man and woman, which is to be holy and righteous, and being in right standing with God. His creation was to be blessed and have dominion upon the earth, in complete peace and harmony with His will, and His way of doing things (Genesis 1:26-28). He suffered and died that we may, Have life, And have it more abundantly. He suffered and died that we may, Be redeemed, From the bondage of sin, Was Jesus’ death in vain ? So many of God’s children, Are being tossed to and fro. So many of God’s children, Are bound, To hatred, envy, lust, greed, The many things that Satan, Has made, Available for captivity, Was Jesus’ death in vain? For God's children, He has made available, The key to a victorious life, For God's children, He has made possible, The gift of everlasting life. Was Jesus' death in vain ? As reported by the American Institute On Stress, 80-90% of all doctor’s visits are stressed related. According to Webster Dictionary, stress means physical or emotional tension. Although we live in a fast paced “want it now” society, God’s Word tells us to rest. God, the Master of the universe, made the world in six days and rested on the seventh day (Genesis 2: 2-3). God did not have to rest, it is to be used as an example. In His infinite wisdom, God knew what He put in man, and He knew what would sustain man. Proper rest is significant for good health. God, in His variety and uniqueness, created each person as a unique human being. Even with identical twins there’s something unique about each one. No one is an accident, although you may have heard something negative about your existence. God loves us, and He wants us here on earth for a purpose. We must begin the life long journey of discovering our identity in Christ. As Christians we need to learn to appreciate who we are, and the things that make us who we are. Our uniqueness is special to God, and we’re also His workmanship (Ephesians 2: 12). E. E. Cummings Casting all your care upon Him, for He cared for you. (I Peter 5: 7). |
